In Portugal, a territorial investigation about the south margin of the Tejo river: Stefano Martini shows the geography around its estuary. We can see urban transformations through a documental register between the industrial and remnant past, houses, and areas in eminent transition due to real estate speculation. On the other side, the interconnection and contrast with Lisbon reveal the river mark of social and political context. The intersection of the architecture with the ambient provokes individual and collective reflections and manifests the impacts of a globalized world in constant modifications.
