At the beginning, an accident. Photos I took on a twenty years old film of my grandfather. This film is mainly filled with portraits of me, then three years old. Today, the double exposure from one era to another, from one generation to another, offers unexpected encounters and creates a new reality. The targeted silhouettes blend together, the photos are haunted.
I have drawn from this random experience a selection of photographs that extrapolate its meaning. Twenty years, the search for one's own singularity in this ending world. All at once brothers, sisters and orphans in this shifting and undefined territory of the late Anthropocene. Superimposing the layers of meaning in front of it, supporting the perpetual investigation of oneself within a common society. Photography for the creation of an own narrative, being this always child looking for.
