After a year of closure due to the health emergency, the night club and discotheque sector is in a state of inactivity and suspension.
This work is intended to be an explicit quote from the volume "Disco to disco" (Milan: Charta, 2007) which contains the works of photographers Gabriele Basilico and Massimo Vitali in which the dancing and discotheque population is represented.
Placing itself in continuity, but in antithesis, with respect to these works, this survey aims to show the anomalous condition of these places deprived of their usual dress made of people.
The particular state of representation, thanks to the historical moment, is an opportunity to place at the center of the research a series of structures designed and built for normal use which, due to lighting conditions and a large number of visitors, has the consequence of making them invisible.
