“Dreams and Nightmares” is a visual journey into my lucid dreams, a personal exploration where the dream dimension intertwines with the subconscious and the perception of reality. Through self-portraits and images that evoke fragments of nightmares, the project aims to transform an intimate experience into a universal narrative, recognizable to anyone who has ever encountered the powerful ambiguity of dreams.
As a oneironaut, I have consciously ventured into these liminal spaces, observing and shaping what my subconscious generates.
Dreams, however private, belong to a shared realm of human experience: a common territory where emotions, fears, and desires reveal themselves in symbolic forms. This project invites reflection on the vulnerability and power of imagination, placing the individual at the center of a dialogue between self and the surrounding community.
Each image is a window into the unconscious, a space where reality transforms, and possibilities become infinite.
