This project aims to describe the rapidly expanding and thickening urban landscape that flows on the sides of a long and deep blue strip, the Chao Phraya River, which divides Bangkok into two halves. Bangkok has achieved an incredible industrial and economic development that has allowed it to grow up and since the mid-twentieth century it has established itself as one of the major economic-financial (as well as tourist) destinations in Southeast Asia. In this landscape research project, the Chao Phraya was considered as a kind of narrative thread, a metaphor for life, which gives life to interactions and allows biodiversity to develop. This fluid connects people who live everywhere and populates the microworld built on its banks. From the almost completely untouched nature of Bang Kachao to the magnificence of the ancient temples of Wat Pho, we embark on a journey to discover the other hidden beauties on the sides of this blue thoroughfare of Bangkok.
