The project 500 mt. around me arises from my explorations of the area around the house
in which I live in since a few years near the natural area of Savio river and on the edge of the center of
Cesena, a classical city of an Italian province.
By the practice of walking, meaning a performance mode towards a personal reconquest of the territory, I develop the work, which arises from the fusion of different plan interpretations, trying to return an intimate rereading of the ordinary elements part of my daily life. An analytical and documentary language intertwines with experimentation opening the doors to the oniric where elements of different nature become part of a surreal magic picture. During my explorations I also collect natural and artificial objects which I put together creating totems and simulacrums of
the place in which I live.
The different visual levels arise from the attempt, sometimes obsessive, to finalize the narration of this limited area and spontaneously they communicate with each other as the flow of my thoughts mark the rhythm of my walking.
