Created between 2020-2023, To Make Land is a meditation on community in a moment of profound social changes. Recently relocated to Barcelona, I began to photograph my neighbourhood, exploring a new territory and seeking a dialogue between the familiar and the unknown. As I immersed myself in my surroundings, it became a space of storytelling, of connection and shared experiences, naturally evolving into a collaborative project.
Exploring themes of time, belonging and resilience, opened a window into people's lives and how we respond to life individually as well as a community. Moments of stillness offered a space for contemplation, revealing a wider quest for hope, trust and solidarity.
