Inspired by Thomas Berry's words, the title refers to the most sacred thing there is : life itself.
Most of these pictures were taken during a series of trips where we went to the encounter of spiritual masters across the globe. As a side to the beauty of the people, the rituals, was the ever-present beauty of nature, of the elements, the way the wind blows in certain moments or the way the grass moves in certain ways. By putting the pictures together, I feel the sense of Thomas Berry's quote never made more sense : "The universe is composed of subjects to be communed with, not objects to be exploited. Everything has its own voice. Thunder and lightening and stars and planets, flowers, birds, animals, trees, ~~ all these have voices, and they constitute a community of existence that is profoundly related."
