I photograph objects found in people's basements. A surprising collection of prosthetic devices, tooth brushes, unusable tools, 20-year-old cans of food, old toasters, to a jar of foetuses. Through these strange kept objects a portrait of each earthling emerges, a psychological reflection through their basement. It also is a sociological exploration of what we would leave behind in a world without us. Visiting aliens would be puzzled by the evidence of earthlings life left. That is if aliens exist…. According to astrophysicist Adam Frank’s simulation models climate change might have caused collapse of alien’s life as well.
