Photographing as a mechanism to remember the forgettable, the material aspect as a release, and the manipulation to reconcile. 'I Lied' plays with the perception of photographic imagery. Some are very obviously manipulated, others less so, and some not at all. This creates the necessity to spend time with the images in order to establish the degree of transformation. Some images are created using a specific set of conditions focusing on the material aspect of photography, some are digitally altered and some are physically destroyed.
