Archivio Antropologico (Anthropological Archive) is a long-term project about an intimate and personal exploration. The work documents the rediscovery of One’s identity through the surrounding landscape and shape of the territory. Through a process of obsessive and meticulous cataloging of the landscape, this project highlights men’s sentimental attraction to earth and land to understand the need to interact with the ‘non-humans’ world. The other world. Archivio Antropologico focuses on the empathy for geology and the material through an exploration of the lands because there’s an attraction for geology, morphology, tales, myths, and legends about them, their very energy, and geomancy. The artist’s practice is a way to find a personal language for a future of coexistence between humans and ‘non-humans’.
