"Ethical breeding means growing the animals in respect of their ethological habits, avoiding unjustified suffering". My research is born from the desire to show what is beyond the intensive breeding, often nothing but lager, we have now heard enough around it. Realities often misunderstood, but that start to be spread on the territory, where the animals are left free to live and graze in wide spaces, cared for and fed with natural methods, where the way of breeding does not negatively affect the planet and where plants and animals of various species contribute to keep the earth alive, for future generations. So I visited eight farmers scattered in central and northern Italy, each with its characteristics, due to the territory or the type of animal bred, but all that respond to these principles. The result was a story of hope and passion, which I wanted to share with my six year old daughter Gemma, to whom I gave a polaroid to elaborate with her drawings for each of the companies visited ANOTHER FARMING IS POSSIBLE!
