“Gesù ti ama” (Jesus loves you) is a photographic series of contemporary urban landscapes set in the Italian province, mainly (but not only) in my region, the province of Ravenna, in Emilia Romagna. Through my atheist and disenchanted gaze, I address the relationship with faith, religiosity, spirituality, and the various ways chosen to express it and make it public. Faith is a sense of belonging to be proud of and show proudly. Among displays of statues, decorated houses, posters, sacred images, and unlikely and somewhat questionable aesthetic choices. An investigation into the impact of religiosity on the urban landscape.
