Since the age of 16, my life has been connected with science. I first came to a research institute at a young age. A year later, I came to Siberia, to Akademgorodok. Dozens of famous scientists built the scientific city at the 3,000 kilometers from the capital in the taiga at the height of the Cold War. Akademgorodok became the scientific and educational center of Siberia, and gave rise to scientific institutes in neighboring cities. I photograph Siberian scientists in the interior of laboratories as a community, adding subjective things to the documentary series - personal feelings and a vision of the world of scientists that is closed to ordinary people. I show my identity as a scientist by taking self-portraits during my scientific work.
