"Y è pi de ten que de via" (There is more time than life) is a photographic project born from a feeling linked to the individual growth. A sense of being late compared to someone or something, a tale of ancient traditions, the inadequacy towards the recurring thought of feeling in the wrong place. The caresses given from a land that teaches you how to live.
The beginning of the research revolved around the similarity between animals and human beings, on how the wild animals in certain cases are helped to survive, to grow and to adapt to their natural condition, without suffering the consequences of finding themselves in a wild and unprotected environment, such as the nature itself presents. A freedom that parents and the territory itself try to implement in the growth phase of a child, guaranteeing them the fundamental tools and then leave them free to make mistakes and learn on their own skin.
Such a vast concept that couldn’t be confined only to this specific topic but then also to the territory and the people who breathe its freezing air, thus absorbing the force of the events and the personal histories, guarded almost jealously, but always recounted with a great sharing desire.
A dimension in which time plays a fundamental role, where it seems crystallised, and at the same time leaves the mark of its inexorable flow irreversibly. Merciless and infinitely long, incompatible with the time we got at our disposal to fully grasp the importance of the balance it slowly creates in everything.
