To face the self-image is a challenge for the woman who lives in a society full of stereotypes and behaviors predefined as ideal. 'Deflower', through photography, intends to express both the feelings of subjugation and anguish, as well as the desire to recognize the self. Among metaphors, the images are fragments of trauma experienced by so many women, rape. Starting from self-witnessing towards the re-elaboration of what we insist on to stress as our social ills.
