The project was carried out inside the Storga Park, an urban park created in the land of the former Azienda Agricola Provincia Sant'Artemio, formerly an Ergotherapy Colony of the Sant'Artemio Psychiatric Hospital. Nascentes morimur, finisque abigine pendet: we die as we are born and the end looms from the beginning, this verse, which is part of the writings of the Roman poet and astrologer Marco Manilius, came back to my mind when photographing this enchanted place, even more beautiful after it has been abandoned to itself. The large trees fall under the weight of parasitic plants and from their remains an infinity of new plants are reborn, the water rises spontaneously from the ground and flows towards the river Sile. Without the intervention of man, nature expands and freely reclaims the territory, the end and the beginning touch each other, and beauty is everywhere.
