"Cushioned Walls" is a personal exploration of the profound meaning of "home".
In anthropology, the word "home" holds a multifaceted meaning. It extends beyond the physical structure and encompasses the intricate web of emotions, relationships, and cultural attachments that define our sense of belonging. It is a space where we find comfort, security, and a sense of identity.
During the creation of this project, I embarked on everyday moments alongside my partner, Francesca. Together, we wandered through simple walks, capturing the essence of our shared experiences. These moments became the backdrop for our exploration of the concept of home, as we contemplated the meaning of this word and its impact on our lives.
As the project unfolded, "Cushioned Walls" became also a significant tool in deepening the intimacy of my relationship withmy partner. Through the camera, we discovered new layers of understanding, vulnerability, and connection, strengthening the bond between us.
