The use of the body, of the voice, the construction of images, the transmission of concepts, of messages: these are some of the characteristics and functions of the theatre. An activity that plays an individual and collective role, able to develop aggregation processes and to stimulate acts of community. The project, started in 2022, follows a widespread theatre festival, to bear witness to the importance, if not the necessity, of bringing the performing arts and all the connected processes to marginal and inaccessible territories such as those of Ogliastra, a subregion of eastern Sardinia. Just as the most tenacious roots reach even the most inaccessible places, the theatre insinuates itself into a difficult geographical context, not only bringing its own energy there, but also acting as a catalyst for the life hidden among the cliffs, the woods and the hearts it encounters. The material of this project is not the scene on stage, but everything that supports and animates it: bare rock, bodies, systems and installations.
