Entre is a photographic essay born from a personal and transatlantic flow. Starting from the sole vestige of my great-grandfather’s Brazilian origin—an old identity document—I reverse his migratory path, moving from Italy to Brazil in search of roots.
The images, captured during walks in both countries, explore the unstable territory of non-belonging and the sensation of being a foreigner everywhere. I investigate identity not as a fixed location, but as a living current between body, territory, and memory. The result is an archive of affections and ruins, where the absence of the past opens space to fabulate other ways of being within a confluence of cultures, losses, and reunions.
