I was born and raised in Crimea but have lived in Moscow for many years. Over time the concept of 'home' has blurred, and in this project the aim was to explore my native land: to intuitively find places, subjects and characters far removed from popular tourist spots and iconic places, in search of the other side. The abandoned natural landscapes and the detachment of my heroes in many ways convey the feelings that I myself feel when I come to Crimea - a state of frozen time and detachment.
