hey you! keep on rockin? in a green world
by Steve Bisson

Keep on Rockin' in a Green World is an observatory project by Urbanautica, coordinated. It provides a platform for initiatives focused on the protection of trees, gardens, parks, woods, forests, jungles, land reclamation, reforestation, and demineralization. Our mission is to give voice to a community of people fighting for a biodiverse world, standing up against the resignation to concrete, ecowars, planet anthropocolonization and urban sprawl.

We will regularly highlight projects that are worthy and aligned with this mission through our IG channel and, periodically, with dedicated articles in the Journal.

DM a statement (what it is and why) + 10 representative images of the project.

Since its foundation, Urbanautica has been deeply committed to promoting a more sustainable and conscious relationship with the environment. In 2009, the collective launched its first exhibition, Naturae, which marked the beginning of an ongoing journey toward raising awareness and fostering dialogue on the importance of a “Green World.” That initial step was not simply a curatorial gesture, but the starting point of a broader cultural mission: to highlight the fragility and beauty of nature, and to show how artistic and visual practices can become tools for change. Over the years, Urbanautica has consistently expanded this vision through a rich program of exhibitions, articles, and international publications, building a platform where diverse voices—artists, photographers, researchers, and activists—could converge. Today, Urbanautica continues to nurture this global community, reaffirming its dedication to creativity, environmental awareness, and cultural exchange in pursuit of a truly sustainable world.

Urbanautica is an independent publisher focused on photography, visual anthropology, and cultural landscapes, fostering collaborations and building networks with real impact since 2009.
